Nice to meet you! I’m a writer, photographer, business consultant, and yogi currently living in rural Utah, just south of Park City, with my husband, dog, cat, and a lot of wildlife. I’ve recently received my MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and hold a B.A. in Economics from Drew University. I’m also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-500) and certified personal trainer (ACE). I love to read, am a bit of a television junkie, and occasionally I knit.
We’ve moved to Utah!
This city girl is now living in the foothills of the Uinta Mountains. From our house we can see the Wasatch Back, and I’ve discovered I’m fascinated by watching clouds coagulate over the mountains, then spill down into Heber Valley. I love seeing all the wildlife in our yard – from ground squirrels to deer to the occasional moose. We’ve had a tricolored heron stop by for a visit, and a pair of mallards are in the pond so often we consider them residents.
We also have a new cat, Min. She came with our house. She’s a talker and is big on snuggles, often demanding that we sit down so she can have a lap to sleep on. Look for pics of her on The Wander Girl soon.
I reserve all rights to the photography on this site, and on Flickr, 500px, VSCO, and Instagram. If you’re interested in using a photo, please send me an email about it, letting me know which photo you would like to use, where the photo will be used and for what purpose. I’m more than happy to field any inquiries, from use in personal not-for-profit blogs to commercial uses. Please do not use any of my photos without my permission.
What I’m Up To Next
I have no idea. I go where the wind blows me. But whatever’s next, I look forward to the adventure!
