MeAbout Me

I am an amateur photographer, cyclist, writer and yogi. By day I work as a business analyst helping companies to find system and process solutions and to make projects successful, but that's only what I do and not who I am. To find out what I'm all about, check out my blog, my tweets and my flickrstream.

What's New

I've moved to the Pacific Northwest!

Jim and I are settling in to our new home on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington. From our neighborhood we have beautiful views of the space needle and downtown Seattle to the south, the Cascade Mountains to the east and the Olympic Mountains to the west. I'm looking forward to exploring my new home state and getting some great photos in the process. Check in with me on the blog for my latest adventures.

Also, I'm just finishing my 365 photography project, where I've taken a photo for each day of 2009. Please check in with me on flickr or on the blog to see the photos I've included in the project.

Where are you from, really?

I grew up in Michigan and went to high school in St. Clair Shores. College took me east to Drew University in Madison, NJ and I moved to New York City after graduation. I lived in Hoboken, NJ for a number of years before my husband and I moved to Minneapolis, MN. Now we're beginning a new adventure in Washington State.

What social media sites are you on?

You can find me on flickr, facebook, twitter, delicious and velog. Feel free to follow me on any of these sites, although I keep my facebook friends list limited to people I know fairly well. Also, you can get my pipes mashup feed, which contains updates to my blog, flickr, twitter, velog and delicious all in one place.

I don't know you personally. Can I comment on your blog and photos?

Yes, please do. I love getting comments. The more the merrier, as long as they're not spam.

Can I use your photos from your sites or your flickrstream for my website for publication?

Please send me an email about it. If it will be for personal use and not for profit in any way, the answer will most likely be yes. If it will be used commercially, we can talk about it when you contact me. Please do not use any of my photos without my permission.

Who took the photo for the About section of your site?

My husband Jim took that photo. He is an accomplished web designer, musician and photographer. You can check out his work at

What's next for you?

I have no idea. I go where the wind blows me. But whatever's next, I look forward to the adventure!
